Fresh build. Spec'd and tech'd for Champ Car (Former Chump car).One Race on car.

Stock 5.0 engine and trans (T5).
Complete rear end setup out of 88' Ford Thunderbird 5.0.

Engine:
-Edelbrock Upper intake
-70MM Throttle Body
-New Water Pump
-New Power Steering Pump
-New Electric Cooling Fans (2)12" w/ Alum Shround wired to toggle switch
-New Plugs/ Cap /Rotor
-New Gaskets all around (no Leaks)
-New cooling hoses and high flow 190 T-Stat
-New Oil Pan w/ main seals

Steering:
-Replaced Spindles with used but excellent condition
-New Rack and Pinion

Suspension:
-Steeda Racing Springs (low 1.5")
-New Big Sway bars (35MM front, 24mm rear)
-New Shocks all around
-New Control Arms all around

Brakes:
-New 73MM Piston (from 95 Ford Lincoln TC) Front calipers
-New Stock rear Calipers (88' Ford T-Bird 5.0)
-Drilled/Slotted Rotors w/Hawk Racing Pads
-Steel Braided Brake Lines
-New Hard Brake Lines all around
-Proportioning Valve (adjustable near driver)
-New master cylinder to match bigger front brakes

Fuel System:
-New Tank (Stock)
-New Rear Lines

-New Pump/ Level Sensor


-New Header back exhaust (no cats)


All safety equipment is new (Including Fire Suppression).

Car is wired for communication system (rugged radio).

Lots of Extras/ Spares:
-New Tail Pipes (Not on now, has turn downs)
-Set of Holley Long tube headers
-4 speed trans (is leaky)... not top loader. It's out of a Ranger and has super long 3rd gear (allegedly good for up to 350HP, ran with another 5.0 in solo and had good success). With necessary aftermarket bell housing.
-Everything I replaced new that was still usable as a back up I saved.
-(2) Sets of GT40 upper/lower intake and head setups (had big plans)
-Extra 5.0 engine (ran solo events) that is still in car but can be pulled for extra $500 (has about 100 Solo hours on it and had been to MidOhio twice). Bottom end is pro built.
-Stock rear end (complete set up).

Full Disclosure:
-Car was built for Champ Car (we have built several cars for this series and it is a blast!) platform so most new parts are stock. There are a few racey bits but at least half are stock (can provide further details to interested parties).
-The one race it has been through was more like a shake down weekend (we missed the shake down track time because of last minute water pump explosion). We got all problems sorted out in race. Unfortunately near the end of the weekend the starter went out. It was replaced incorrectly and as a result took some teeth from the fly wheel. As you could imagine this caused an issue with engine balance and now above 4000 rpm there is a vibration. Engine and trans still very strong. Needs flywheel.

As much time as I have spent on this car I refuse to crawl under it one more time, so I lowered the asking price.
-Car had some Ohio Rot that was all repaired during the build process.
-Dash is unfinished, i.e. there is no dash
-Rear hatch needs replaced, is stock and old/rotted

Car has title and is currently registered as historic with Ohio.
